Today was Field Day! We competed on different types of relays, such as Speed Relay, Sack Race, and Crab Relay. We had so much fun!
WE CAME IN FIRST PLACE!!! YAYYY FOR TEAMWORK!!
Finishing off our unit on forces and motion, students constructed their very own kites! During our end-of-year class picnic, we flew the kites to see the physical forces required to keep the kites airborne. The wind speed was only about 8 mph, so most of our kites did not last long in the air. However, we didn’t give up!
We had a great time during our class picnic! So disappointing our vegetables didn’t grow enough for everyone to eat though 😦
This year’s festival was beyond amazing! If you missed it, check out this “vlog” below highlighting the details:

This past Saturday, students from RCSAI and RCSA Elementary participated in RCSAI’s First Annual Invitational Lego Competition. Three students from our class participated–Anaya R., Summer, and Alex. Everyone did a wonderful job on their builds and I’m so proud of them!
A special congratulations goes to Alex, along with his teammate, Lucas Rumbach, for winning first place!!!
